The book was very interesting. I actually understood the whole story not like others. This book shows friendship and that friends are there for any problem they have. The gray haired man is very patience with Author. The gray haired man tries to make Author feel better by telling him that everything is going to go well and that Joanie is going to come back. The only thing that got me confused and really thinking is the last part that when the girl with the gray haired man was with, that she was trying to turn of the flame that fell and he told her to leave it. i don't get do they get burned or just Lee the gray haired man. At the same time it made me think that the girl that was with the gray haired man was the one that they were talking about, thats why she was quiet but then it didn't say that she had left the gray haired man. But over all the story was good, I enjoyed reading ti.
